Flying a drone for the first time can be a very exciting moment! It is very important to remember that DJI drones are very expensive and you want to avoid costly repairs at all costs when flying these drones. We have put together a couple of tips and tricks to help you on your drone journey and avoid and hopefully avoid any potential crashes.
Avoid Bad Weather-
Flying your drone in bad weather is never really a good idea and should be avoided at all costs. Rain and snow are to be avoided altogether, and if you are a beginner or really want to avoid a crash, you may only want to fly your DJI drone on a nice sunny day.
If you do ever decide to fly your drone in the rain you run the risk of getting the drone waterlogged. This can cause it to fall from the sky and cause physical damage as well potential as water damage.
Keep DJI Drone Close By-
It is very important to keep your drone close by when flying, especially if you are a beginner. Many people have lost their drones completely by flying them many miles away. You also want to make sure your batteries are fully charged before taking flight. This will allow you to get the most flying time and will lessen the risk of losing your drone when flying.
Avoid Congested Area's-
Flying your DJI drone in a crowded or congested area is never a good idea! You could be liable for any damage or injury you cause to a person or any property at all. You will also want to check in with your local laws so make sure you are legally allowed to fly the drone in your area.
We hope these brief but critical tips will be of help to you and will avoid a potential crash with your DJI drone. If you ever do end up needing any repairs to your drone reach out to us at the Cell Clinic and we would be more than happy to help!
